This week, the lovely folks at Frothy Monkey are bringing some more options to the 12South Neighborhood, with their local, foodie take on the burger joint. Burger Up opens this Saturday, bringing a menu of burgers, salads, soups and appetizers made from as many locals ingredients as they could get their hands on, with their prized ingredient (local beef) coming straight from the Triple L Ranch in Franklin.
Once you see their menu, I doubt you’ll be able to hold in your excitement. I got a preview of th menu offerings last week, and I’m going to post some of my favorites after the break.
And don’t worry if you’re a vegetarian or don’t eat red meat, beef is far from your only option at Burger. Some of you might remember Frothy Monkey tweeting about their quinoa and black bean burger just last month. I didn’t get to taste it, but I’ve heard many rave reviews. Continue reading »
