Seriously, what’s up with this rain showing up on the weekends? (Dammit, Janet!) Fortunately, it hasn’t hit us quite yet, and we’ve got a beautiful Friday to enjoy. That’s right. The antici…………..pation is finally over and Burger Up (brought to you by your friends at the Frothy Monkey) will open its doors on 12th South tomorrow at 5. I cannot wait to dive into their delicious-looking menu.
The midnight showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show is going on tonight and tomorrow at the Belcourt. It will undoubtedly be a seriously enjoyable ruckus.

Apparently today is both National Stress Awareness Day and National Eggs Benedict Day. So, find some Eggs Benedict and chill out. It’s Friday, people! Congratulations to you for staying strong through the week. As a reward, you have a weekend chock-full of fun ahead of you:
Tomorrow is Record Store Day. Grimey’s will have BBQ, beer, bands, and cheap records for sale starting at 10 a.m. The Groove will be hosting Mas Tacos.
Urban Outfitters is hosting a sidewalk sale for womens clothing tomorrow.
Tomorrow is also the 12th Avenue South Tour of Homes for $10.
12th Avenue’s friends down the street at the Halcyon Bike Shop will be hosting their bike drive (11a.m. to 6p.m.) tomorrow at Centennial Park during the Earth Day Celebration.
